  Taxi drivers in Dundee are being urged to be vigilant following reports of break-ins at taxi ranks across the city. Cash has been stolen from cabs in Fintry Drive, Findchapel Place and Alloway Place in Linlathen. The UK’s largest fleet of 100% electric taxis entered service in Dundee today. These 30 Nissan LEAFs, operated by 203020 Electric, are a welcome addition to the City of Discovery. Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs) The term “WAV” is used by manufacturers, dealers and organisations to refer to vehicles that can be fitted with a ramp or lift to allow wheelchair users to travel safely. These vehicles are licensed as For-Hire Vehicles (FHV) by the TLC and must pass a WAV inspection. Small WAVs are converted from compact cars or MPVs and usually have space for the driver, one or two other passengers and a wheelchair.
